Asprey Studio Private Commissions
A rare convergence of state-of-the-art technology and traditionally trained sculptors, master silver and goldsmiths, and senior computer animators, the studio operates at the frontier of contemporary craftsmanship. Every creation is meticulously pre-visualised, offering clients a precise and immersive representation of the final work.

The service
Asprey Studio's private commission service provides a discreet, bespoke environment in which clients’ visions are realised with complete creative freedom. Each commission is guided by Chief Creative Officer Alastair Walker, with private clients receiving privileged access to the studio, direct collaboration with workshop artisans, and a seamless end-to-end white-glove experience.
From the initial sketch to completed masterpiece, every work is conceived and crafted in-house within our 10,000 sq ft Kent studio, where cutting-edge innovation meets timeless artistry.
Defined by master craftsmanship and uncompromising attention to detail, the studio’s capabilities span silver and goldsmithing, fine jewellery, leather, and pioneering modern materials including carbon fibre and advanced resin composites.

The expertise
Asprey Studio’s works have been acquired by leading institutions, including the British Museuem with the realisation of a one-of-its-kind silver sculpture of Albrecht Dürer’s Rhinoceros (1515) paired with an official digital inscription, and the studio being welcomed onto the main floor of Art Basel — a distinction granted to no other studio of its kind since the fair’s inception.
Other recent projects include an ongoing partnership with Bugatti, notably the creation of the Asprey Bugatti Egg, handcrafted by master artisans and paired with generative digital works. The Studio has also collaborated with Marvel on a series of unique silver sculptures of selected comic book characters, and with computer designer Susan Kare on Esc Keys, a limited-edition collection translating some of her new digital designs into handcrafted silver keycaps and pendants, each paired with a digital counterpart.

The commissions
Every commission begins with a conversation. Whether inspired by a personal story, a significant milestone, or a collector's vision, each project is developed collaboratively to create a work that is entirely unique.
Drawing on the expertise of Asprey Studio's master silversmiths, goldsmiths, sculptors, digital animators and designers, commissions can range from monumental sculptures and objets d'art to fine jewellery, silverware and bespoke collectibles. Each piece is conceived as a singular work, balancing artistic vision with technical excellence and exceptional attention to detail.
Among the Studio's recent commissions is a large silver horse sculpture, created to mark the Year of the Horse. Developed in collaboration with Chinese artists, the work reflects Asprey Studio's commitment to celebrating and paying tribute to diverse cultures through craftsmanship and fostering meaningful cross-cultural artistic dialogues.

Sustainability
Asprey Studio is committed to operating with the lightest possible environmental footprint. The Studio runs in part on renewable energy generated by on-site solar panels, we actively recycle materials, and we uphold a strict zero-waste policy. By leveraging advanced digital technologies, every commission is pre-visualised before production begins, reducing waste while ensuring exceptional precision.
The majority of the production takes place entirely in-house in our Kent atelier, where our artisans oversee every detail. Every commission is made to order in England, maintaining complete traceability while supporting local craftsmanship.
